Precautions:
- Regular ophthalmologic examinations are required for long-term therapy to monitor for retinal damage.
- Use with caution in patients with liver disease, kidney problems, or G-6-PD deficiency.
- Avoid use during pregnancy unless benefits outweigh risks.
- Keep out of reach of children due to high toxicity risk.
