Indications:
- Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension).
- Treatment of irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia).
- Prevention of chest pain associated with angina.
- Protection of the heart in early treatment after myocardial infarction (heart attack).

Main Active Ingredients:
- Atenolol 50 mg.

Precautions:
- Do not use if you suffer from asthma or similar breathing problems.
- Caution if you have poor circulation or heart failure.
- Use with care in patients with diabetes, thyroid disorders, or kidney problems.
- Inform your doctor if you have Prinzmetal’s angina or a first-degree heart block.
- Not recommended for children under 4 years of age.

Side Effects:
- Slow heart rate (bradycardia).
- Cold hands and feet.
- Dizziness, fatigue, or fainting.
- Shortness of breath or ankle swelling.
- Nausea, diarrhea, or stomach upset.

Drug-Drug Interactions:
- Clonidine.
- Calcium channel blockers such as verapamil, diltiazem, and nifedipine.
- Antiarrhythmic drugs such as disopyramide, quinidine, and amiodarone.
- Digoxin.
- Epinephrine (adrenaline).
- Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as ibuprofen, indomethacin.
- Insulin or oral diabetes medicines.
- Decongestants and cold remedies.
